What is Defining Gel?

What is it for?

How often can I use Defining Gel?
Use Defining Gel two to three times a day to hydrate, soften, tone, and firm all over.  I use it after the shower and before bed.

Do I use Defining Gel at the same time as I use the Applicator?
Defining Gel can be used with the Applicators to target a specific body part. For best results, use Defining Gel twice a day in between your Applicator uses on the area of the body you are targeting.  You won’t need it right after you wrap.  Wait til the next day.

Can it be used alone or does it have to be used in conjunction with the Applicators?
Defining Gel can be used without the use of the Applicators.

Does Defining Gel contain the same ingredients as the Ultimate Applicator?
It contains a small amount of the ingredients that are contained in the Applicators, but also contains ingredients that can help to hydrate and firm all areas of your body.

Can I use Defining Gel on my face?
A scoop of Greens and just a dab of Defining Gel makes a great mask!

What are other uses for the Defining Gel?

It Works! Skinny Wrap Facts in Kansas City

What is It?

The It Works body wrap aka Ultimate Body Applicator is a non-woven cloth that is infused with our incredible combination of ingredients that aid in tightening, toning and firming.  It is a first to market product and can only be sold through an independent distributor.  Use caution when purchasing from sites such as Ebay or Amazon.

How Do You Use It?

 Simply remove the applicator from the package and apply to clean skin.  Use saran wrap or a tight garment to keep it in place for 45 minutes.  After 45 minutes you can remove it and throw it away.  The directions are on the package and you can also check out my tips for successful wrapping.  You can apply the applicator to your legs, arms, buttocks, chin, tummy, back and breasts. Yes it works on breasts too!  We recommend taking before pictures so you can track your results.

How Often Can I Use It?

 We recommend once every 72 hours.  The applicator ingredients will be working for up to 72 hours so results can be progressive.
 

How Long Should I Leave the Applicator On?

 The recommended time is 45 minutes so I recommend sticking to that to test the sensitivity of your skin.  I have heard of people wearing it for a day, but you just need 45 minutes.
 

Can I Sleep in It?

 Sometimes when we sleep we sweat and you don’t want to sweat while wearing the applicator.  I know people do this, but I don’t think it is necessary.
 

Can I Use More Than One at a Time?

 I recommend sticking to one area at a time and one applicator at a time.  I was at an It Works boot camp and our product formulator suggested the same thing.  The only exception would be legs and arms.  You can wrap those at the same time to achieve symmetrical results.
 

What Size is It?

 The applicator is 13×21 inches.  It kind of looks like a Texas sized band aid. :)

How Much Water Should I Drink?

Staying hydrated is so important to successful results so we recommend drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water.  So if you weigh 150lbs, drink 75 ounces of water each day.

Should I Drink that Much Water While I Have the Wrap On? 

NO.  You will be bloated and have to pee all night.  Most wrap parties happen in the evening.  Drink about 16 or so ounces (a water bottle) while you are wrapping and then the next 3 days is when you want to drink the recommended amount of water each day. (Half your body weight in ounces)

How Does the Ultimate Applicator Work?

 While many body wraps are made to cause water loss, the Ultimate Body Applicator does not.  In fact we encourage drinking lots of water.  Our applicator uses a botanically based cream formula that gives you tightening, toning, and firming results on any area of your body that it is applied to.  These results last. The botanical ingredients are extremely hydrating and nourishing to the skin as a bonus they aid in reducing the appearance of cellulite and improve the skin rejuvenation process as well as redefining the appearance of your body’s sexy contours. Some of these botanicals work to give you visible results in just 45 minutes, while other ingredients in the formula continue to work over the next 72 hours, leading to progressive results.
 

How Long Do the Results Last?

 You can maintain results with proper diet and exercise.  Using Defining Gel daily can also aid in maintaining results.

Can Anyone Use the Ultimate Applicator?

 Our applicator is formulated for adults and we do not recommend it for pregnant or nursing moms.

What if I Get a Rash?

 Occasionally some people develop a temporary rash due to sensitivity to some of the natural ingredients.  If the rash persists see your physician.

Do the Wraps Expire?

 The applicator has a one year shelf life.  Do not store it long term in the heat or extreme cold.  Once the sealed pouch is opened it must be used immediately.  The wrap should be moist when you apply it.
